Wow, its 2011 and the world keeps on spinning!  I had a great end to 2010 and an even better beginning to 2011!  My trip and this section of my life is drawing to a close.  My last month in Kenya will be February. What a great time!  I am getting excited to come home to see friends and family…. and eat chipotle, watch sports, drive on nice roads, speak the right language etc.

The LMFC continues to progress and I have found a coach to come and lead the team when I leave.  I have been praying for the right guy and this individual has everything I was hoping for.  Charles (Buju) is a 29 year old man who played professional football in Kenya for 5 years before quitting to minister in the slums of Nairobi.  I believe that Charles will be able to take our guys to the next level.  He is humble but very confident in what he has to offer.  He explained to me that he will simply run the team like it’s a professional team.  He knows that spiritual advancement is our focus and winning games and making it a professional team is simply a bonus.  J  Life is good!  Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and ALL these other things will be added unto you.
